Are "slip-resistant" shoes really slip-resistant?

No sole is 100% slip- and fall-proof; just because shoes are labeled "slip-resistant" doesn't mean that the wearer will never slip or fall. How should I properly clean these shoes?

Polyurethane styles wipe clean with soap and water. Do NOT use harsh chemicals or bleach. Autoclavable up to 140 degrees.

What is the difference between waterproof and water-resistant shoes?

Waterproof shoes have a special membrane coating that will cause water to bead up and roll off the shoe. Water resistant shoes will not bead and eventually the material will let water into the shoe.

Designed to meet the demands of workers in busy kitchens who spend long hours on their feet, the Zest clog's fit provides all-day comfort that keeps you energized. The shoe features a soft toe, shock-absorbent arch support, and a supportive 1 1/4" heel. It can also accommodate orthotics (sold separately).

This lightweight clog features a removable TRUComfort insole for support that won't quit on a long shift and has an antimicrobial top cloth to fight odor. The non-marking PURGrip oil- and slip-resistant tread adds grip to prevent injury on slippery surfaces and enhance workplace safety. The shoe's durable, lightweight TRUBase polyurethane outsole can also be easily wiped clean with mild soap and water. The Zest clog is the perfect choice to prevent foot fatigue and heel pain on long shifts!
