Franmara 1099 Stainless Steel Hard Cheese and Chocolate Knife

I have used this knife for cheeses AND for chocolate (but not simultaneously). I especially love how deep it is, to make it easy to cut through whatever I am cutting. It's practical, affordable, and well made. It's what you can always expect from Webstaurant!

This is my favourite knife at the moment. It is surprising sharp, and well weighted. The handle sits in my (small) hand beautifully and it goes though Chocolate well.

This is my new favorite for cutting chocolate bars!! The ergonomic handle lets me break up 5 lb choc bars without getting hand cramps or having mishaps.

Franmara 1099 Stainless Steel Hard Cheese and Chocolate Knife was a fair price but isn't extremely useful to us. The weird shape makes it hard to cut.

We love these knives that we use for our charcuterie boards. They are elegant and sophisticated looking. Sharp enough to cut our selection of hard cheeses.

This Franmara stainless steel hard cheese knife is really sharp. It slices through big blocks of cheddar like butter. Cutting brick chocolate with this knife is also a breeze. I don't need to put much pressure and the knife slides right through. It cuts really thin slices so the chocolate melts evenly.

This is a great stainless steel hard cheese knife. i like how it is very comfortable to hold, and I like how sharp it is so I don't have to use a little force into it. This stainless steel design works really good and great for the price.

The Franmara 1099 is a really great little niche knife that serves is intended purpose perfectly. Its great quality, one solid piece of stainless steel and very light weight which I assume is thanks to its hollow handle. The blade was nice and sharp on arrival and feels like a durable piece that will stand up to years of resharpening if need be. It handles hard cheese wonderfully, helps break up large blocks of chocolate with ease and I've found myself using if for random other things like slicing pepperoni. Really for the price, you can't argue with it. The value is outstanding and worth it even if you only use it on occasion.

A good brownie must be a little bit moist. But it brings the torture of cutting together. If you have this wonderful chocolate knife, cutting brownies are not a nightmare anymore

This knife is well made and versatile. It slices easily and is easy to clean. The price is excellent! I will be purchasing more of these for my home.

I use this Franmara Stainless Steel Hard Cheese and Chocolate Knife on a regular basis, and it works especially well on large blocks of chocolate. Easy to clean. Works well, great solid construction, not too heavy and easy to order.

Not only is this a great sharp cheese knife, it is also very helpful and cutting fondant. It is easy to run along the edge of a cake to cut off the excess.

We purchased this soft cheese knife to use for a cheese display for a wedding. We paired it with a semi-hard cheese knife and a soft cheese knife. All three looked great.

This knife literally had no edge when we got it from Webstaurant store. We had our knife guy put an edge on it. Now is works great for hard cheeses.

I used this knife to cut hard cheese. While it worked well, I didn't find it offered any benefit over using a sharp knife. It is light weight and may fit the inside of a hand better than a traditional knife due to the rounded handle. The design of the blade didn't offer a smoother cut, which is what I expected based on the shape. I have yet to try it to cut chocolate. Perhaps I will have a higher opinion of this product after trying it on that. Marsha S.

This is another great cheese knife from Franmara. The blade and handle are 1 solid piece. The quality is amazing for the price and these look fantastic on cheese and meat platters, the finish on the knife is a brushed finish so they look fantastic.

this is a great addition to the biffet cheese board. it has one piece construction so it does not break at the handle as most do

straight out of the box this thing was super sharp. it cut through some parmesan rind (notoriously hard) with no problems at all. the one piece construction is very solid and sturdy.

This knife is really great for slicing through any cheese or even hard chocolate. Ive used it evwn on soft cheese and had no problems

I couldn't cut even sectioned baking chocolate with this. It may be better with cheeses. It's still a well-made knife and I'll find some use for it.

This handy kitchen tool make cutting cheese fun and easy. Cutting a block of cheese with this cheese cutter in great and serves lots of time as opposed to using a regular knife.

Awful at cutting chocolate.Maybe it would be good for cheeses, but it did not make it easier or cleaner to cut the chocolate bars we get. Price mirrors the quality.

This knife is good for small jobs, for cutting smaller batches of chocolates or very hard cheese. I've found that it's better suited to chopping up chocolate bars than cheese.
