As part of Fisher's DrainKing line, this valve comes with several key features that provide superior reliability and a longer product life when compared to similar drain valves. Unlike most waste valves, this product uses a ball valve to control water flow, providing leak protection that a standard O-ring valve can't guarantee. This valve is also cast with a low zinc content, which will give it better resistance to pitting and pinholes than similar products.
