Fabri-Kal Greenware 2 oz. Compostable Clear Plastic Souffle / Portion Cup Lid - 2,010/Case

This is a comparison between the Choice brand and the Fabri-Kal 4 oz plastic portion cups and lids. I ordered the Choice brand in the past (https://www.webstaurantstore.com/choice-4-oz-clear-plastic-souffle-cup-portion-cup-pack/999P400C.html) and this time the Fabri-Kal Greenware were cheaper to ship, so i tried them. I still had a few of the Choice ones left, so was able to compare. (No pictures, sorry!) First of all, both are sturdy enough for the job, get a strong enough seal when closed with the matching lid, and allow you to see the contents. The Greenware ones definitely are the most environmentally friendly. They are compostable, in addition to being recyclable, and from plant-based sources. The Choice brand are just plain recyclable. The Greenware are a shinier more clear plastic. It feels like a slightly thinner wall than the Choice and a bit more brittle, but that did not affect their sturdiness at all. perfect lids for the 2oz containers. Seals on tight and wont spill! We like to use it for salsa and have never had problem with them spilling. Highly recommend

First time using this brand and I wasn’t disappointed. Normally these lids (from other brands) don’t like to fasten on the little cups and you have to fight with them. This wasn’t the case with these... they snapped right on and when one cup would get knocked over the lid held the liquid in place and didn’t leak.

These are great lids but be aware of storage because if they get crushed or smashed they will no longer work properly. We had couple bags get smashed and could no longer use.

i use these in my family childcare for individual snacks, perfect for jello,applesauce,and pudding. i also use them for individual paint cups.They are sturdy and good priced. These covers are very tight to put on, but it ensures they don't leak. these also are good priced

This lid has made life easy. We simply fill the portion cups with our sauces and top it with lid. Helps eliminates spills and drips in our meal prep containers.

This lid fits the Fabri-Kal Greenware GPC400 4 oz. Compostable Plastic Souffle / Portion Cup - 100/Pack. With no mess and no spill just perfect.

First and foremost, the lid is ultra clear and aesthetically appealing. My main complaint is it’s very squeaky! The sound when this lid is being removed or covered is unpleasant. I tried using cooking oil to prevent the noise, but it persists. I use the 3.25 oz cup w/ the lid, and it is stackable but very inconsistent. The lid has grooves that can hold cups in place but can easily be toppled over.

These lids fit excellently on the tops of the 4oz portion cups. They are ideal for being able to seal in whatever item you have in there.

These lids fit well on the compatible souffle portion cup that we purchased. The lids fit tightly on the cups and kept them from leaking. We tried to use a sharpie to label the types of salad dressing but that didn't work out too good, thus the reason for the 4 stars. We would still recommend this product.

These tops for the bottom part perfectly and are very snug to prevent leaks and spills. Also great for more "liquidy" items such are dressings.

The Fabri-Kal Greenware GXL345PC 3.25-4 oz. Compostable Clear Plastic Souffle / Portion Cup Lids are a perfect fit for the cups that I purchased. They are great to have for a snack on the go. The quality is very good as well as the price. I highly recommend and will definitely purchase again if needed.

These lids do not fit the supposed compatible plastic cups. They are too small. This is a huge disappointment as now I have both cases of unusable product.

I purchased these compostable lids along with the compatible compostable soufflé cups approximately six months ago. Well, when I was finally able to use them, I filled, approximately 20 of the cups with icing and when I went to use the lids, the lids don’t fit. I tried and tried and tried, but either the soufflé cup would collapse from the downward pressure of trying to secure the lid or the lid would get halfway on and then pop off the other side. Webstaurant was nice enough to offered to replace or refund for the lids, but I was still stuck with unusable soufflé cups. I found it wildly ironic that I purchased these compostable items that were useless and all had to be disposed of, but hey, at least they’re compostable! The time, effort, frustration, and loss of product was a learning lesson for me. I will not purchase these items again, nor will I recommend them to someone else.

These arrived melted in the box. They are stuck together and useless.

Don't get these. It seems like every 10th one or sometimes 10 in a row have a defect in the lid that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to close. I see that on one side there is a slight shortening of the side wall of the lip of the lid that makes it so it doesn't go over one side of the matching cup.

Good inexpensive option. They fit securely and hold tight. I have noticed a few quality issues from time to time such as cracked lids and lids nesting inside one another to the point that you cannot seperate them.

This item is only good if used within 4 to 6 months of purchase. I had some left over portion cup lids and tried to use them about a year later and found out they were no more usable. The lids are all so fragile and any attempt to use it in covering the cup results in its crumbling. I don't even consider replacing them with a new purchase and so, will lose the use of the cups. Better be warned.

Fits perfectly and stays on and easy to remove. Perfect! JI can always count on the Webstaurant store to them in stock. Strong and durable. Definitely get more when needed and recommend to my partners.
