Edwards-Councilor Steramine sani-tabs are perfect for sanitizing food contact surfaces, which is essential in the food service industry. They can be used in either a soaking method for dishes, glasses, utensils, and other small items, or in spray applications for sanitizing large surfaces like countertops, sinks, processing equipment, refrigerators, and other non-porous surfaces that frequently come in contact with food. When used as directed, these tablets are highly effective at preventing the transmission of infectious diseases like HIV-1 (AIDS virus) and E. Coli. Prevent cross-contamination to keep your food safe and your food establishment in business with these sani-tabs. Each case includes (72) 150-count bottles for a total of 10,800 tablets per order.
When using these sani-tabs for soaking, first wash your items with a good detergent in the first sink compartment. Rinse with clean water in the second sink compartment. In the third sink compartment, use one Steramine sanitizing tablet per one gallon of warm water. Allow several minutes for the tablets to dissolve. Immerse your items for at least one minute or for the contact time specified by the governing sanitary code. Allow the items to air dry on a rack or drainboard.
You can also use these sani-tabs in a spray application. First, wash and rinse all items and surfaces thoroughly. Then, apply the solution (one tab per one gallon) using a hand trigger sprayer or wipe on. Allow the surface to remain wet for at least one minute, followed by adequate draining and air-drying.
