I was about ready to dispose of the commercial can opener we had in our church kitchen--for over 25 years! It just wasn't working anymore. Then I checked out this replacement kit and ordered it right away--I was able to do the replacing of parts myself, which saved us a lot of money in our kitchen budget. Once you make sure it's the right item for your current can opener, and you're willing to work through the grime that has probably built up on it--take a picture of it before you take it apart, which will help you put it back together!--you will have it done in short order!
This is a great kit for refurbishing an older can opener to like-new condition! The instructions, if you're in to that sort of thing, were clear and easy to follow. Our can opener is now like it was when brand new! Worth every penny!
