If you're comparing this to the totally plastic one that is much cheaper, I would say get this one. if you use knives a lot, this will stand up to many cleanings and it looks great! You can disassemble and run through dishwasher. Knives can drip dry in the rack without touching. I can fit up to 4 of my knives in there.
