This is the scale everyone fights over in our kitchen. Large platform, sturdy base, and the 25lb limit is perfect for most everything. We recently had the cover crack but it has lasted us a long time. Pricey, but all scales seem to me. Certainly one to invest in.
I've been using Edlund scales for my whole fifteen years in the kitchen and they have always out lasted the all of the competition. This is a solid well built unit and up to any task you give it.
