These straws are just as good as regular plastic straws. They are really thick, and don't snap or break when bent. I love that they are recyclable and compostable, and the price is comparable to regular straws.

Perfect for our smoothies. It's hard to find an unwrapped giant diameter PLA straw in this length. A sturdy straw in a manageable sized recyclable cardboard pack is a definite plus too.
I have a food truck and these were not a good fit. They didn't dispense out of my straw dispenser properly (just a hair too big) and the biggest issue is AVOID HAVING THEM OUTSIDE. They got damaged by the hot sun (sunlight/heat) as the metal shelf my dispenser sits on absorbs and reflects more heat. So had to throw a bunch out. It's nice to be able to have straws that are safely dispensed to Customers so they don't have to worry about germs so will need to look for other straws or other dispensers sadly. Great product for restaurants though and cooler times of the year.
