My parents wanted a regular coffee pot...good luck finding one in a store. Long story short they absolutely loved this pot. They loved it so much I sent another one as a back up since the don't like many things I get them. Only negative they had was a small spring that they were afraid they would loose because it is tiny and pops off...they are old and have not so nimble fingers.
