This coffee urn is heated with pre-heated water and does not require an external heat source, eliminating exposure to an open flame. To preheat, simply fill the urn with boiling water, let it sit for 5 minutes, and drain before filling it with coffee. It is made with stainless steel and boasts a hands-free spigot that easily dispenses beverages by simply pressing your cup against it.
