This quick disconnect fitting is very useful when installing any of the Dormont gas lines. The tip I will give is that there might be a situation where someone forgets to turn the gas shutoff off before disconnecting this quick connect. There is actually a built in check valve to close the line so gas doesn't start spewing everywhere. If this happens, it is very difficult to reconnect the fitting after shutting the gas valve off. Simply stick your pinky finger up into the wall side of the fitting and push the ball. This will reset the ball valve so that you can reconnect the fitting.

The quick disconnect fitting is made of tough construction. It pairs perfectly with the foodservice gas connector #3201675BP48. Like the name of the product, one just uses one hand to quickly disconnect it.
Doesn’t seem to connect well with the food service gas connector hose. Creates a fire hazard that terrified our BOH. Definitely flame resistant and durable.

We had some used equipment that came with the proper natural gas hoses but we're missing the correct fitting to connect to the gas lines. This is exactly what we needed.
