This ice chest's top, sides, and front are made of 20 gauge stainless steel, while the interior consists of 22 gauge stainless steel, and the back and bottom are 24 gauge galvanized stainless steel. The top has a 6 1/2" x 15 3/4" stamped opening with a one-piece lift-off cover. The cover helps keep contaminants out while preserving the quality of the ice inside the bin.

Thanks to the coved corners, this ice chest is easy to clean. A 1" diameter drain opening also allows for water to properly drain away from the ice for easy clean up. This high-quality model is insulated on the top, sides, front, back, and bottom with high-density closed-cell polyurethane to maintain consistent temperatures inside the ice chest to minimize melting. The Delfield 240 drop-in ice bin holds 75 lb. of flaked ice, perfect for beverage service at bars and pubs. This unit can be attached to the front of a counter with brackets (sold separately) that are installed on the top or the side of the ice chest for added versatility.
