Cooper-Atkins DPS300-01-8 Details

With a convenient swivel head design, the Cooper-Atkins DPS300-01-8 4 3/4" digital pocket probe thermometer swivels in either direction up to 90 degrees. This provides a full 180 degree rotation, allowing the user to move the head and large, 1/2" LCD display for easy reading from any angle. As it moves, the head stops at four increments: 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees. Doing so helps keep the head at the approximate viewing angle even when the user jots down the temperature for their HACCP records. This makes the thermometer a must-have instrument in any deli, bakery, restaurant, or coffee shop.

The thermometer features a 4 3/4" stainless steel stem with a reduced tip for fast response times. It reads temperatures between -40 and 302 degrees Fahrenheit at an accuracy of +/- 2 degrees from 32 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit. To simplify maintenance, it does not require recalibration.

Keeping the thermometer safe when not in use, a protective sheath is included with a pocket clip. The actual housing of the thermometer is also made of ABS plastic with an antimicrobial additive, which provides sanitation and durability for long-lasting use. The included LR44 battery also ensures longevity, providing 4300 hours of operation. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the thermometer will even automatically shut-off, which preserves battery life for later use.
