It not only has a temperature range of 50 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, it's accurate to +/- 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
For easy reading on-the-go, the dial is 2" in diameter and features a tempered glass lens for both safety and long-lasting use. The thermometer's 8" long stem and its included clip are both made of stainless steel. The clip attaches the thermometer to the side of a pot or pan to help remind employees to monitor the temperature and to encourage following-through with the task. It likewise helps to prevent the thermometer from going missing.
