Cultivated at 1,980 meters above sea level in the towering Merendon mountain range, this coffee takes longer to mature than beans grown at lower elevations. These high-altitude growing conditions allow the coffee beans to develop more robust, complex flavor and result in fewer imperfections. Once this coffee has matured to perfection, it is carefully hand-harvested, washed to remove the cherry that surrounds the bean, then dried in the warm, tropical sunshine. The result is a remarkable coffee with tasting notes of rich caramel, sweet stone fruit, and a lingering dark cocoa finish. The roasty, balanced body of this coffee makes it a great choice for your daily morning cup and special occasions alike!

Grind the beans coarsely and pour just enough water heated to 205 degrees Fahrenheit over them to saturate all the grounds. Allow this slurry to bloom for 30 to 40 seconds before filling your French press all the way up and allowing it to steep for 3 to 4 minutes before plunging the grounds down. To truly amplify the robust and roasty flavor of this coffee, use it to create rich espresso! Grind the beans finely, press them into your espresso machine's filter, then wait while your machine pulls a delicious shot of espresso!
