Choice Wide Mouth Lid for Select Canning / Mason Jars - 48/Pack

I would definitely buy these lids again. At such a low price, I was concerned that I would have trouble with the sealing, but I got 108 goods seals out of 108 jars. You do have to be careful putting them in place, because they don't don't seem to "self-center" as well as name brands (the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars) but otherwise they're just fine. DO NOT buy the matching "Choice" brand bands / rings, though. They are TERRIBLE for getting cross-threaded (not something you want to have to deal with while you have a couple dozen hot jars waiting to be filled.) I ended up throwing away about 1 out of every 8, because I simply couldn't get them to screw on. BEWARE.

Choice brand canning jar lids are a Made in China alternative to US brand canning jar lids that are in VERY short supply. I've tried other Chinese canning jar lids and they cut my fingers like a razor blade; these have not yet. One slight drawback using these lids is that you cannot make them as "finger-tight" as the US canning jar lids, they will bulge. So when you tighten them up finger-tight, back off just a tad on the tightness. It appears that the metal is of a different thickness and can easily bulge.

The lids do not fit the jars correctly. They are larger than the jars and if you don't center them just right they unseal.

Choice Regular Mouth Lids for canning jars are a cost-effective choice for preserving. These 2.75-inch lids fit Choice jars well and seal reliably for water bath canning. Loosening the band slightly during processing prevents buckling, ensuring a secure seal. Bands can be finicky, but these lids are great for everyday canning with this tweak.

So much less expensive than the name brand, and they seal just as well. A great product.

I have had many of these lids buckle during the canning process, I cannot get a refund and I have lost a lot of customer product that I cannot sell.

These lids fit my jars perfectly. The rubber rings look full and ought to seal perfectly. Good product, looking forward to canning my food with these.

Wide mouth canning lids come in an easy to store and compact box. They fit canning jars just fine and in view of the fact that lids were difficult to come by, this is a great deal.
