Seal and Store Goods
Pair this jar with the included lid and band to seal your goods for months to come. To prepare your lid for sealing, place it in a pot and cover it with water. Bring the water to a simmer (180 degrees Fahrenheit / 80 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes before using to activate the sealing compound. Once sealed, a lid cannot be reused to create a vacuum seal again, although it may serve as a temporary cover for short-term storage. The band can stand up to multiple uses and should be handwashed to avoid rust.

Very nice and durable jar
I currently use these for my kiddie extreme shakes. They are the perfect serving size for our littlest guests. They always come intact as well. I have never received any broken ones.
Apparently I ordered these by mistake. Thought I was ordering Ball jars. I will never make that mistake again. The Choice jars were good themselves but the lids and caps are horrible. The caps are so flimsy they literally bend with the slightest of touch taking them off the jar to wash. This caused a lot of extra time trying to screw them on the jars after putting in the jam.
