Choice 5 1/2" Scalloped Stainless Steel Sandwich Spreader with Brown Polypropylene Handle

We loved the size, shape, and that it is listed as dishwasher safe. Unfortunately, the quality is disappointing. The metal blades quickly developed rust spots, and in one case the metal blade even developed an inch long crack in it after a couple of weeks of use -- see photo.

The handles fall off in under a week's worth of use. We have other brands that are still working great after 2 years. Once the handle comes off the metal under the plastic rusted very quickly so we can't even use them temporarily while waiting for new ones.

The size is nice and materials feel good, however, the metal spreader part feels a little flimsy. It should be fine, but it would be nice if the metal were a bit heavier duty.

Arrived quickly and exactly what we were looking for. Good quality for a good price.

Products fine but they send them 1 per foot long box each. And on different days. It is not a set of 6 .

easy to see handle

Great spreader. Long enough to scrape the bottom of an almost empty butter or jam jar. The serrated side is awesome. I used it to cut the crust off of the bread for the kids. Its very sharp.

This practical and ergonomic product will help to quickly spread the butter on our sandwiches. It also allows you to delicately cut pieces of cheese. It's great.

I bought this stainless steel sandwich spreader because I thought it would handle jelly better than a butter knife, and that it does. It has a wide blade so it can pick up plenty of peanutbutter, jam, or mayonnaise. The polypropylene handle has a bit of a texture to it to aid grip, and the length is ideal for reaching the bottom of a peanutbutter jar.

Can never have enough of them.

Works as advertised. We use it for spuds and garlic bread. A bit thinner than I would like but no issues.

you get what you pay for so be sure your expectations are in line. These do not last very long with regular use. Will do the job though.

The ultimate spreader!

Stainless steel spreader 5 1/2 inch works well. Sharp out of the package sturdy handle comfortable to use. Good value and recommended.

Subpar quality control, various spreaders with the same serial number and significantly different blade thicknesses. Found this out after the thinner blades broke in 3 different types of spreads resulting in over $100 in food loss. Giving them one last try.

I really like this spreader. Great for butter it doesn’t tear the bread. Sturdy, good quality and I really like the handle. Definitely something to have in your kitchen, comes in very handy.

These are just OK. They work but they don't seem to last very long or are durable. I was buttering toast and the metal part came out of the handle. That happened within a couple weeks of getting in. I've got other brand ones that are much, much older that have held up longer.

These spreaders are perfect, strong enough to spread thick icing and cream cheese. We have about a dozen of these and use them daily.

Perfect for cream cheese & ricotta cheese

Unfortunately, these spreaders are extremely flimsy. Compared to other brands we’ve tried of the same product, this one doesn’t quite hold up. We use it to spread cream cheese and it bends with each spread.

You can’t go wrong with this scalloped stainless steel sandwich spreader. It has a plastic handle that feels good in hand, it’s easy to use, and store. It easily cuts a toasted bagel, and then spreads the cream cheese. It fits just right in an individual serving size container of cream cheese.

You don't realize how much nice a proper spread spreader is until you use it. The serrated side makes our open face bagels look more artisanal.

These spreaders work great we use them from avocado to hummus and peanut butter.. It works great and for all of those uses for us. Makes life easy!

We purchased this one and the longer version…both worked great. If you’re working out of deep containers I would suggest the longer one but if you’re using this to spread butter then it’s perfect for that.

best spreader, you can spread something as tough as peanut butter with this and it will work great. it is sturdy but just easy to misplace.

I bought for spreading a nuttella. Does its job perfectly. good quality and the length is just as I wanted. will use this for a long time.

This was the spreader I needed. With just enough of an edge to cleanly cut off chunks of cream cheese or butter, this spreader works as intended.
