I purchased these containers to brine chicken in. They are very large and fit just perfectly in the bottom of a commercial fridge. I have two filled with saltwater and chicken and they weigh a lot. The handles are very sturdy though. I like the snap-on lids that are easy to remove when things get slippery. I will probably purchase more of these to store my flour and sugar. They are just the right size for a 25-pound bag with room to spare.
