Lightweight and sturdy cover. It arrived with a small dent on the edge but nothing that hinders its performance. I originally bought this for the 7 qt choice aluminum sauce pan but it was a little big and surprisingly it fit the 10 qt sauce pan. Its not a very snug fit but its a good fit and it'll do. Very good cover and nice dome shape .
We buy pots and lids separate since we seem to always have too many lids and never enough pots
