Choice #100 Round Stainless Steel Squeeze Handle Disher - 0.38 oz.

This #20 disher became defective the first time I used it. After several attempts by my husband to fix it, the lever that controls the metal scoop release mechanism won't stay in the normal position inside the scoop. It stays outside of the disher at 90 degrees top center, and consequently it is useless as a cookie scoop. I have to dig the dough out with my fingers.

Amazing quality and the price is great! But be careful, the size is incorrect. The listing says 1.5oz and the packaging says 1.75oz.

Cheap material, broke during 1st use.

We used this to dish out muffins. It lasted about 3 weeks. The scraper part is not securely fastened to the metal rod. It slides around and doesn't scrape the dish completely.

Bought this scoop for muffin batter. Figured metal would stand up to heavier duty use. Nope. Total piece of garbage. The gears disengage under even mild resistance, leading to that irritating situation where you've gotta stop what you're doin' and try to get that little scraper bar thing re-aligned. Couldn't even get through a single tray of muffins before I had to toss it. Maybe if you were using it to scoop stuff that's not sticky it would work. So if y'all need a portion scoop for oats, look no further!

these are a waste of money. I have an older set from INOX that are durable, perform well and the difference is obvious when you hold them. The INOX are heavier and feel better, plus they work. These do not work...they jump the track, clog up and the swiper doesn't clean the bowl of spoon consistently between scoops. several of them are already broken from scooping pretty soft stuff, like raw meatballs. Does anyone make good ones still? The Vollrath are double the price and reviews for these are pretty bad.

Perfect for the serving size I was looking for, I disagree with others that it broke after 1st or couple of uses because I have use it over 20 times already and it's perfect! My potato salad and ice cream look so cute when served, I'm in love!

Stainless steel quality is great. Operating mechanism is average, this is a lower quantity scoop. It is great for soft items such as scooping melons or decorating with quac as a topping on a plate of food. Next purchase will probably be a higher quality to make this more universal and not worry about bending or breaking.

We ordered four of them. They are the perfect size for what we needed however two of them broke with in a few days of using them. Will probably look for a similar scoop that is a different brand.

just what I needed

I use mine almost exclusively for cookie dough. For the price I'm pretty pleased, I just have to be a little gentle with it when scooping stiff doughs or doughs with mix-ins. It does the job and cleans up afterward without much fuss unless something gets in the crevices. The scoop arm has ended up resting about 1/4" above the bowl when not squeezed, but it still functions fine. Specific Pros: scoop size is accurate, cleans easily, stores easily, low resistance to squeeze/release scoop Specific Cons: scoop arm is flimsy, squeeze/release gets sticky/clicky over time

I bought one of each size of these scoops because I'm left handed and was hoping to have a scoop I could use that was not a right handed scoop. I really should have just bought a set of the other kind and used them the way I have for years because every single scoop has broken. I use them for cookies, Plating food such as rice and mashed potatoes. I've never even tried to use them for ice cream. I'm sad cause I was really hoping they would have worked out.

Affordable and good quality. Goes perfectly with the dumpling maker.

Complete junk. Broke on the first scoop. I bought two at the same time and they both broke on the first scoop. I was scooping soft coconut oil, not ice cream. The swiping arm is not secured very well and is very very weak. I bought a thumb operated scoop somewhere else and it is strong and solid

This is #6 and it is perfect for what it will be used for, whether you want good portion control or a nice rounded shape, I did not buy other brands because they have plastic in them, and we prefer stainless steel in our utensils

Great and flexible size (good for larger cookies but also for general use in the kitchen). I'm very pleased with my purchase and the quality of the item (its a standard design but feels well built) and look forward to using it regularly.

This is a great scoop and has so may uses. We use it for giant cookies, and scooping our Italian ice. They are sturdy. A great value for the price

Phenomenal product with many uses. I use the product to weigh out ground hamburger meat for smash burger patties. Makes preparation and portion control a breeze. They have many sizes to choose from.

Very satisfied with this scoop. Perfect size to scoop out my different truffle recipe. Easy to clean, hold, and empty the scoop. So glad I bought a couple of them to use in the different batches.

I LOVE this size scoop for large cookies, jumbo cupcakes, and burger patties (separate scoops)! The portioning is exact and it has really stepped up my game when it comes to efficiency. I need more sizes and scoops because this brand is perfect!
