Chefmaster Natural Pink Liqua-Gel Food Coloring 10.5 oz.

I desperately wanted to love this product. But I used 20% of a bottle just for two eight inch cheesecakes and it still was a very light pale color yellow. We ended up needing to go back to our original coloring to fix it. Traditional food gels usually take two or three drops to get the lemon shade I am looking for. Super disappointed ~ especially with this price point. I have yet to try the red or green, but at this time I will be looking for a refund/return and a different natural coloring.

I exclusively use natural colors in my bakery. This is one of my favorite brands. Is it expensive? Yes. Does it work well? Also yes. I have made royal icing (from egg whites), American buttercream, Swiss meringue buttercream, petit four fondant glaze, donut icing and more with these colors, and they usually turn out just like I envisioned

Very disappointed with outcome of Chefmaster Natural Red Liqua-Gel Food Coloring. It should come with a disclaimer that it stains. Yes, it stains. I thought perhaps reducing the amount would resolve the issue, but still stains any and everything the final product touches. My second thought was perhaps the staining occurred because the directions list to refrigerate and it was no shipped with cold packs. I called Chefmaster customer service today and was told they are aware of the staining. A mild detergent should remove stains from any glass dish. Shaking my head...we can't serve the product, because it stains your teeth and not only that, if anyone touched it with their fingers, they are too stained. I was okay paying $ for 7 oz but knowing what I know now. I'm disappointed with Chefmaster and very much so disappointed with Webstaurantstore. This product should not be sold without the STAIN Disclaimer.

I have been using natural food coloring in my bakery for 10 years, and have been searching that long for a good, bright red color that doesn’t turn pink. I have finally, finally, finally found that in this product! I will only use this red color now when making cakes, cookies and desserts for my clients. I did test heating the color and it turned bright orange, so it is not heat stable. Other than that, this red is perfect for what I need!

Be VERY careful this is not regular, orginary green food coloring! It is $45 per bottle, just one bottle is $45!

This product is very good overall and produces a very nice blue hue for my naturally colored cotton candy ice cream. My only complaint is the price is quite high for only 7oz, although it will last for quite awhile before I run out.
