i have tried both and the L and ex L and i like the material and the pockets. But the fit in the mid section is to tight for me. i wish they were baggier there because i would more.

Bought 5 pair in Jan 2017, received my order tried on 2 pair and they fit perfect, I just needed them shortened. Washed them, had them tailored then when i went to wear them 2 pair fit like smalls around the waist, very tight. Never wore them, but the other 3 pair are great. Now 1 year later I order 5 more pair, received my order today and I try all 5 pair on and they are tight around the waist ( and no I haven't gained weight). Plus 2 pair are missing the drawstring. I'm returning all 5 pair and on top of that have to pay a 30% restocking fee..... ridiculous but it's their policy. I shouldn't have to on the 2 pair missing the drawstring but oh well.... i'll just bite the bullet & move on. Done with chef revival and webstaurant, i'm going back to another company.

These chef pants are great with the cargo pockets very roomy and comfortable. Plenty of room for tongs, thermometers and a kitchen towel or a notepad for a prep lists. We will definitely be purchasing these in the future.
