my other vendor was out of stock so i gave these a try, it was perfect and exactly what i needed. Will be ordering again.

I was wowed by WebstaurantStore's customer service regarding a recent order that didn't arrive when expected. When I checked, the website indicated that the order had been delivered ... but I never received it. I sent an email asking them to double-check, and within less than 2 hours I got an email explaining that the package had been damaged in delivery (FedEx problem). The WebstaurantStore representative immediately offered a full refund or free reshipment--they made it right with NO HASSLE at all! Very nice capers. They are on the larger side, but not huge. They are packed in salty brine, but have plenty of flavor, and also provide wonderful texture for sauteed dishes. Great price too.

Awesome capers! All of them are big and plump—not broken up like I sometimes find. I use this with smoked fish, steak, pork, and in salad dressings.

Capers are always a tricky thing.. You need to taste several before you find the right one for your specific receipt. These have an excellent flavor. Not to salty, which is very important. I recommend this item for all Italian dishes

Good flavour, excellent price! We go through a fair amount of capers and this size is perfect for dividing among multiple stations. The shelf life is good and they hold up well after opening.

Best price around if you are looking for capers. I have a hard time finding them and I'm in a small town so I would have to purchase the small jars at the local grocery store. Great flavor and are on the larger side.

I thought the smaller capers were tasty but you get so much more flavor out of the bigger ones....depending on your taste you may want to rinse some of the salt and brine out first ...........but I usually make an eggplant caponata appetizer that people go crazy for.......I need to try them in a spaghetti dish next

A wonderful jar of capers that is great for putting on our pizzas. Great salty tasty and really a nice garnishing to our cocktails too.

I love these capers! They are the perfect texture--not too hard, not too soft. They make the perfect addition to a caprese salad with mozzarella, tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Just delicious!

I'm not a huge fan of the flavor(a very personal thing), but don't let that stop you from buying these capers. They come in a huge 32 ounce jar, and the price is quite modest. They are a good choice if you want capers that won't break the bank.

We use these in remoulade sauce, picatta sauce, for salads, etc. it's a great product at a great price point, much cheaper than my other food purveyor.

These capers are such a great value. Not only do they make my piccata taste amazing, but the price is also amazing. I would never get this same deal anywhere else.

These are about twice the size of the capers I ordinarily use, which made the dish look different but it tasted just as good! The jar arrived with extra tape around the lid and wrapped in its own plastic bag, which is a good thing because despite all the precautions, it leaked. I'm assuming it got too hot and popped the inner safety seal. Still, you can't beat the price and since they're in a brine, I don't think the 'breach' did any harm. I'd buy them again, although a quart of capers is going to last a long, long time!

If you use much seafood you'll definitely want capers in your kitchen. They add the perfect salty bite into fish dishes. I love them in tuna salad.

Was so happy to find the Castella 32oz Capote Capers on the Webstaurant stores website. My local market only carries the tiny capers in small jars so this was a great find. It compliments my chicken picatta, and mustard glazed salmon, pan seared scallops provencal and homemade vinegrette dressing perfectly. Thank you again for another fine product at a great price.

this giant container of capers costs about the same as the smaller size available in most stores. it's a great deal and because of the size it will last an incredibly long time.

We are trying to eat more healthy and add castella capers to salads. We have tried 3 other brands and prefer the castella for taste and value...

Capotes capers are larger than the non-pareil style that people are accustom to. These range in size from 9 to 11 mm, compared to the 0-7mm of the non-pareil.

These are almost inedibly salty. I made a small test recipe with them and had to pick them all off in order to finish eating it. I give them two stars because I love that they are larger and more tender than what I can buy locally. If these could be returned, I would send them back. Over all, glad I didn't buy a large stock of them.

The price is CRAZY on these. We were paying double and then some on these before I looked them up here. We use a lot of capers because we make our own dressings, at this price the savings are phenomal. Once again Webstaurant for the win.

Yummy capers and you cannot come close to beating the price on these. I do not even feel guilty when I load dishes with extra capers anymore!

These capers are delicious! They are large in size. We use them for omelettes and tuna wraps. We chop them up for the wraps and the flavor is amazing!

I bought these to try for a new pasta dish (chicken caper pasta) and it turned out excellent. Must drain capers and simmer them in cream sauce, delish!

I just got my first order of Castella Capers. I ordered two jars to start with so I could test them. The jars are much larger than grocery store jars selling at the same price, so first of all, they are a bargain. Secondly, the capers, themselves, are huge....but Oh My Goodness....the flavor! That perfect blend of salt and lemony bursts with each bud you bite into and yet does not overwhelm a delicate sauce. Now I do not have to skimp on capers in my recipes...and have been trying to think of new ways to use them...including adding them to simple canned. I needed nothing more than a little celery and mayo because the capers added the acidic element of salt and lemon. Don't balk till you try it!

I'm going to have to look up more recipes to make using capers, because there are so many in each jar! These capers taste great, too! Each bud packs its own rosy green flavor and the salty taste is not overpowering.

I bought these to use in a pasta dish.the cost is great and so are the capers. I felt that they were a little saltier than ones I have used before but I just adjusted to suit and they were fine.
