My biggest purchase and it has been worth it. Ran into some issues with the reset tripping. But I was able to get on the phone with Cambro and walk me through the fix. This is essentially a transportable hot box. I bought a power inverter for my vehicle to keep power to the box while transporting.

Excellent purchase to keep food safe on the road. Also acts as great oven on site to maintain safe temperature. Comes up to 140 degrees super fast- I would say within 30 mins. Works ok with fried items although they do get soggy so you will need another vessel after transporting.

This product is great for transporting food to longer distances! The food remains hot and safe for at least 4 hours (when not plugged in). It is heavy though, would need two people to carry it. Love the fact that it can be plugged in to retain heat. Highly recommend!

We own three of these and I am about to purchase another. After several years of heavy use, they are still in perfect condition, and hold temp with no issues. We use them to transport food for caterings and during our delivery service, to keep multiple orders hot at one time until they are competed. The size is also perfect for transport - these can fit in the backseat of a car or in most trunks, which helps since we have many delivery drivers who have different types of cars. I have nothing but good things to say about this product, wish I could afford a dozen of them!

A great working catering cabinet that actually welcomes in/out usage. I've had the traditional boxes that are not heated...they're not designed for repeated in/out. I'll call them transport boxes. I've had this unit for 3 years now. a couple months ago, had one of the fans stop working, thus the unit wasn't as hot as normal. Contacted Cambro to help troubleshoot. They immediately sent me two fans to be replaced. Simple enough to do myself. Unit has been running strong since. There is a warning to not place hot food directly on the inside bottom of the cabinet. repeated practice will warp the bottom. Mine is warped but still works great! I'll be purchasing another unit in the next couple months.

We have used the regular Black Ultra Pan Carriers from Cambro and I would give those a 3 star review. But since we've gotten the Black Ultra Pan Carrier Heated Holding Pan Carrier we have been able to hot hold more food for longer periods of time. We plug in our carrier right when we get to our commissary to pre-heat. Once we are ready to pack up and go to the site we place our foods to maintain safe temperatures until we are ready to operate. Definitely a great investment to have better food practices.

We all kept asking ourselves why it took so long to find this. We used it for a big event and disaster drill where people come in and out over a few hours for dinner. Everyone had a hot meal. The unit performed perfectly. We even put in hamburger buns to warm and they came out delightfully moist. It will be a boon when we are feeding folks in a real disaster. Now we are budgeting for another one. I was worried about the cord on the front of the unit but it was no problem at all. Well made, easy to clean.

This carrier is great. We had been using the non electric carriers and this gives you much more flexibility and time. Would definitely recommend for anyone that uses hot food.

This portable food warmer helps out when im traveling to an event and when I need to keep my food warm.. I have done many events and this keeps my food hot (165 degrees max). so I can pass inspection with the Health Department. This is a MUST. I own 9 warmers.

I have had 3 of the Cambro heated pan carrier's for over a year and they are still working like they are new. Love them

Works great. Transported temp. sensitive food to location an hour away and my trays were warm enough that I needed to use pot holder to carry to site.

Great product. It doesn't have as much insulation though, so it doesn't work well during transportation or if you are in a position where you don't have a plug.

Impressive! Holds perfect temp just like described. So east to transport in my car and carry. Customers love how professional it looks too! I am about to order a second one.

Bought this last year for our cater service. Let me tell you, it cost more but it save us so much space and hot food stays hot hours after its unplugged from outlet, at 155F. We fill it up to six tray at some point but its heavy adding to heater that built in, two person will need to lift this thing. We have loaned to our cater partner and they want one. So far been working great and we use once every few weeks. This is great for any company travel far and cook off site. Oh and its easy clean too

We love these portable warmers, they stay warm in transit and easily plug back in to provide on site warming. Easy enough for a lady to carry as well!

Cambros are great and hold a lot of heat but this added feature allows us to skip the holding box and go straight to the cambro. A little expensive but well worth it.

Geat product and great service use this on all my fresh rubs and bbq sauces..did not wait long to get..this is very good for catering

The Cambro brand heated carriers are always a great purchase. They are durable, spacious, and hold temperature nicely. The webstaurant store speed of service/delivery was amazing. I am so glad I found this site.

These Cambro brand pan carriers are great for transporting hot food but works great to hold large bulk batches of macaroni and cheese or boiled lobsters!!
