Cambro 6 and 8 Qt. Clear Round Polycarbonate Food Storage Container Lid

Cambro 6, 8 Qt. Clear Round Lid fits my Cambro 6 qt clear round container well. Its polycarbonate build makes it a breeze to clean. You can throw it in the dishwasher and it is as good as new. The seal is nice and containts odors in moderately well.

Nice sturdy lid for the Cambro storage box's. This fits the 6 Qrt size. Snaps on and stays put. I wouldnt say its water tight if you dumped it over by no means, but is a fairly sucure fit.

I bought the 6 quart size for the matching container. The lid snaps on and off beautifully, and feels very secure when it is on. It's very easy to clean.

These are commercial-quality food storage containers that I use for preparing dough and pre-ferments for home baking. Polycarbonate is about as expensive as you can get for this type of container, but it is seemingly indestructible and it washes up easily. There is an added and unexpected benefit: you get a great view of your dough, or sourdough starter, or poolish, or whatever you have in it. It sounds silly, but getting a 3-D view of the dough is just plain better than looking at if from above. It doesn't make better bread, but it makes the baking experience more enjoyable. So, it you are prepared to pay top dollar (including paying extra for the lids), these are the containers to get.

I use this lid once a week to cap and uncap my Cambro RFSCW6135 Camwear 6 Qt. Clear Round Food Storage Container #214RFSCW6. I have only positive experiences with it. Very simple, sleek design. Pops on and off the Cambro container. Sometimes I tip the container over. Never had issues with spillage. Then again, not transporting soup. Just making bread dough and letting it rise. Easy to clean of bread dough residue. Easy to dry. Easy to store. I used to think Cambro items were just for commercial kitchens, but I'm hooked! Great for home/personal use.

Yes, don't forget to purchase a lid for your Camwear containers! These lids snap into place and keep the contents fresh / uncontaminated. The lid is also easily removed.

These are great when you need them to be super clear so you can see your ingredients or products, such as juices etc. Definitely happy with the purchase.

We cap off our mixers with these. Just be sure not to stack anything on them, the lids can't hold much weight and they will crack.

These lids are a must-have for the bucket, I like to use them to place on top (not sealing the bucket) of the dough bucket while dough is rising.

This is the clear plastic lid to fit the 6 or 8 quart Cambro clear round container. The lid fits nice and tightly. It is heavy and sturdy and I wash it in either the sink or the dishwasher. I don't know if the lid causes and airtight seal, but it seems as though it does and I store pantry items like flour and sugar in them and they seem very well preserved. I recommend them.
