Cambro Camwear Food Pans

Cambro Camwear Food Pans

Hi, Christina Bobak here with Cambro's Camwear poly-carbonate pans. NSF approved, the Camwear pan is ideal for any situation with its ability to store, transport, and serve all in one. Available in full-sized down to 1/9 sizing, Cambro food pans are easy to stack and are made from a durable poly-carbonate material. Let's look at the difference between metal and Camwear pans. Because Camwear's made from poly-carbonate, the pan will not rust. However, metal pans retain moisture, and this results in rusting which is highly toxic for food service. Test results have proven that Camwear pans keep products just as cold as metal pans. Also, these pans will cost you 50% less than what a metal pan will cost. For increased safety and convenience, Cambro also offers Camwear colander pans. With colander pans you can easily rinse and drain any food product. It also stores ice for seafood and makes defrosting meat easy. This pan reduces the amount of food handling, thereby in creasing food safety. Colander pans are available in full size, half size, 1/3, and 1/6 size. Visit www.cambro.com to view all the Camwear food pans that we have to offer. And don't forget to contact your distributor or your rep for more details on how to purchase these Camwear food pans. Thanks for watching.

Cambro 5 Steps for Proper Food Storage

Cambro 5 Steps for Proper Food Storage

Food service operators all over the world believe deeply in the value of Cambro products, not only to help make their jobs easier every day, but to help store, deliver, and serve food safely to their customers. Improperly stored food becomes vulnerable to cross-contamination and compromised quality. Just having the proper lids can make a big difference. Food service operators can follow these 5 keys towards a HACCP-friendly storage system. (1) Store products in clear containers with tight-fitting lids to minimize handling and reduce risk of contamination. Another benefit is the cost-savings from food spoilage. (2) Keep all raw and cooked products separated to prevent cross-contaminated. Cover with lids rather than plastic wrap to protect contents against spills and contaminates. (3) Cover, label, and date all food storage container using dissolvable labels. This reduces the risk of harmful bacteria on sticky label residue. (4) Rotate the food using the First-In, First-Out system to ensure the oldest food is used first. (5) Maximize storage space with square containers. Cambro food storage solutions help food service operators save money and enhance their food safety efforts.

    People Talk About:

pans bottom Colander eggs great More Cambro pan top vegetables
I was originally looking for a plastic false bottom when I stumbled upon these. They are now my preferred choice when putting diced tomatoes in the deli. They hold up well and prevent our sliced and diced produce from becoming soggy.
I love these because they are not too expensive. We do tend to go through alot because they crack offen, but they are not too expensive so I keep doing it. I have thought about making the switch to the metal ones but they are a lot more & just have decided to stay with these for now.
We love these containers. We use them in conjunction with a steel one underneath but they do an excellent job of keeping vegetables out of soaking in their own juices.
We use these on our mobile unit inside of another third pan to ice down eggs. It is also a great way to drain veggies. It seems indestructible. Great value here!
These Cambro colander pans are great for draining rinsed veggies and for thawing meats and poultry. We will definitely be purchasing more these in the near future.
You cannot the beat the price for these polycarbonate pans. We have them in all sizes. We use this colander pan every day and it cleans/sanitizes very easily.
A very nice colander pan for keeping your vegetables in tip top shape. We use this fur cucumbers and roasted red peppers. Price is also far better than the local restaurant supply stores
Awesome pans to help keep water or juice separated from our product without having to consistently drain it. We bought 1 to test.. and then bought about 40 more
These Cambro Camwear 5" Deep Clear Colander Pans are a great addition to any kitchen. We use them to store cooked meats and fresh vegetables in our prep tables, and the excess moisture drains to the bottom of the Cambro you place this in to prevent soggy food.
More Camware … I store my farm fresh eggs in this bin that has holes in the bottom. The lid goes on top protecting the eggs from damage and allowing for something to still be stacked on top. The holes in the bottom of the bin still allow the eggs to breath.
