Details

Add hearty, authentic maple flavor to your foods and beverages with this Butternut Mountain Farm processing grade pure Vermont maple syrup! Processing grade maple syrup is harvested toward the end of Vermont's maple sugaring season, giving it a darker color and a more intense flavor than grade A maple products. This processing grade syrup isn't suitable for tabletop use, but its bold flavor makes it a great way to impart real maple taste into prepared baked goods and beverages! If you run a commercial brewing or distilling operation, this processing grade syrup is perfect for adding real maple flavor to beer, mead, and spirits. It's also great for use in commercial bakery operations, where it can be used to impart breads, cakes, pastries, frostings, and fillings with deliciously sweet and autumnal maple flavor!

Compared to using grade A maple syrup in your commercial operation, this processing grade maple syrup is an economical alternative! Its hearty flavor won't be lost during baking or brewing processes, ensuring that you'll deliver concentrated Vermont maple taste in your prepared foods and beverages. This processing grade product isn't inferior to grade A maple syrup - it's simply intended for use as an ingredient rather than as a tabletop condiment! Best of all, this bulk 5 gallon pail of pure Vermont maple syrup will keep your establishment in good supply of this delicious product.

Deep in the heart of Vermont's maple groves, where maple trees have been sustainably tapped for centuries, sits Butternut Mountain Farm's 600 acre forest. It is here, on the slopes of a mountain, where they extract sap from Vermont's world-renowned maple trees, and boil down the sap into grade A maple syrup in their state-of-the-art facilities. Some of the trees were even planted as seedlings over 50 years ago by the owners of Butternut Mountain Farm, the Marvin family. Each generation of the Marvin family has perfected the art of maple sugaring further and further, championing real, 100% pure Vermont maple syrup in every bottle.

Type:
Organic Grade A Amber

This maple syrup has a light color, and a very clean flavor. We use this for topping fruit, yogurt, and breakfast foods instead of cooking with it. The favor is distinctly maple with no bitter notes like some of the darker types of maple syrup. Vermont makes the best maple syrup!
