Details

Tapped from maple trees renowned for their vibrant fall foliage comes Butternut Mountain Farm 5 gallon organic grade A amber pure maple syrup. This amber-colored syrup is often described as the truest taste of maple flavor, accompanied with light, toasty afternotes. As a completely versatile ingredient, you'll be able to add this maple syrup to almost all of the items on your a la carte, dessert, or drink menu. It's also certified organic to ensure you can satisfy the needs of your customers that prefer to exclusively eat organically. Plus, this maple syrup is housed in a bulk 5 gallon container to keep your busy kitchen or bakery in good supply.

Maple syrup is a vegan-friendly sweetener to use as a substitute to white sugar. Because this maple syrup was extracted from tree farms in the hillsides of the Northeastern U.S. and Canada, it's a completely natural and healthier sweetener that runs with the flavor profile of its terroir and color from its extracting season. Maple syrup is iconically drizzled on pancakes, waffles, French toast, over yogurt and fruit, or in your coffee or tea. It can also be used as an ingredient for glazes, mayonnaise, vinaigrettes, or dressings. Additionally, maple syrup can be used as the sweetener in cocktails, mocktails, lattes, and fall-inspired beverages.

Deep into the heart of Vermont's maple groves, where maple trees have been sustainably harvested for centuries, sits Butternut Mountain Farm's 600 acre forest. It is here, on the slopes of a mountain, where they extract sap from Vermont's world-renowned maple trees, and boil down the sap into grade A maple syrup in their state-of-the-art facilities. Some of the trees were even planted as seedlings over 50 years ago by the owners of Butternut Mountain Farm, the Marvin family. Each generation of the Marvin family has perfected the art of maple sugaring further and further, championing real, 100% pure Vermont maple syrup in every bottle.

Type:
Organic Grade A Amber

This maple syrup has a light color, and a very clean flavor. We use this for topping fruit, yogurt, and breakfast foods instead of cooking with it. The favor is distinctly maple with no bitter notes like some of the darker types of maple syrup. Vermont makes the best maple syrup!
