Bunn 22100.0000 Details
Increase your whole bean coffee sales by allowing customers to grind your special blend with the Bunn G3 HD black three lb. bulk coffee grinder! The Bunn bulk coffee grinder is perfect for coffee shops, delis, supermarkets, and other operations that sell whole bean coffee.
The Bunn G3 can hold up to 3 lb. of fresh coffee beans. Heavy-duty, precision burrs produce high quality grinds, and its powerful 3/4 hp motor can grind one lb. in less than 30 seconds! These precision burrs also reduce the risk of overheating the beans during the grinding process. Overheated beans are less flavorful!
Users can select from a wide range of grinds from coarse to fine to match the type of brew desired. A convenient cleaning lever removes all coffee from the grind chamber, preventing cross-contamination of different gourmet coffee flavors. Additionally, a bag safety switch stops the motor when the bag is removed and prevents it from starting with no bag in place!
The Bunn G3 HD bulk coffee grinder requires a 120V electrical connection.

People Talk About:coffee grinder beans burrs grinders Awesome better customers essentially grinding
This is a very robust and well built grinder. For those who sell coffee commercially, you will want something that will stand the test of time. This model, and the models similar that have smaller basket sizes are essentially the same so whatever one you get 1, 2 or 3 lb it's the same guts. I roast my own coffee, and for those of us 'snobs' who are into good coffee, grinding is critically important. A cheap grinder will bust the beans up essentially, creating a lot of dust or fines as it's called, which leads to bitterness and inferior tastes. The way the burrs are on this one, it essentially shaves the beans, instead of beating them up, which provides a better shape of the grounds that allows for better extraction and a richer fuller flavor from the bean. Even if you are not overly concerned about the shape of the grounds or full extraction and all the coffee geek stuff, the speed of this machine is fantastic. You don't want to spend all of your time grinding coffee for your customers. That time can be much better spent and lets be honest, standing in front of a grinder for several minutes is well... boring. This thing is capable of going through a pound of beans in about 30 seconds or so. That is a lifesaver right there. The burrs are a bit expensive to replace, but because of their very large size, will last you a long long time. You will grind hundreds of pounds of coffee, perhaps even thousands, depending on your settings, before you will need to even begin to think about burr replacement. If you care enough about your customers and the quality of your coffee to buy your beans whole, follow through and get a grinder that won't destroy the quality of your end product, or leave you spending most of your time grinding beans, instead of interacting with your customers.

We mounted this grinder in our coffee trailer. It doesn't draw much electricity, which is awesome since we are running on a generator. It is very top heavy, and prone to tipping over. So, we had to get creative in the mounting. But, if this were used in a regular shop that didn't drive around, that wouldn't be an issue.

Awesome bulk grinder from an awesome company. Very reliable, quick to set up, and easily adjusted for the perfect grind. The only downfall is the cost of replacing the burrs but money saving in the long run.
