It's made with high-quality North American white wheat that's carefully selected, germinated, and kilned to create a consistent product with a sweet, malty flavor with mild bread dough notes. It also adds a light straw color to finished beers. This wheat malt is suitable for use as 5% of the mash bill in any style of beer to improve head retention, at 10-20% in Kolsch beers, at 30-40% in traditional Belgian wit beers, or at 50% or more as all or part of the base malt for American wheat beers.

This malt has 5% moisture and an 83% yield on grind. It has a diastatic power of 120 degrees Lintner, making it suitable for converting starch into sugar during the mashing process of any beer. This malt yields an SRM of 2.8 for a pale yellow color. It's perfect for use in commercial breweries and is available in a 50 lb. bulk bag to keep your operation well-stocked! To preserve this product's freshness and ensure the best flavor, it's recommended to store your malt in a low-humidity environment at temperatures under 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
