It adds a dark brown color to your beers, making it suitable for use as 5-7% of the malt bill in black IPAs, schwarzbiers, and other dark ales and lagers, where it contributes dark color and hints of smooth roasted flavor. This versatile product can also be used at 1-2% to offer minor color adjustment with little to no impact on flavor and aroma, or at 2-5% to add more color and subtle flavor.

This malt has 6.5% moisture and yields an SRM of 550, making it an excellent choice for brewing dark beers. It's perfect for use in commercial breweries and is available in a 50 lb. bulk bag to keep your operation well-stocked! To preserve this product's freshness and ensure the best flavor, it's recommended to store your malt in a low-humidity environment at temperatures under 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
