Boylan Bottling Co. Diet Root Beer Beverage / Soda Syrup 5 Gallon Bag in Box

This is a very unusual diet root beer. Before buying, I contacted Boylan to ask them how it compares to national brands. They said it's more like IBC or Stewart and more "sophisticated" than A&W or Mug. I like all four of those ones (but Barq's most of all, if only zero sugar wasn't impossible to find) so I decided to give it a trial run. I actually found it to be unique and not like any of them. There is a faint root beer flavor, but the primary flavor for me is wintergreen which does not make me think of a root beer. It's almost like you were drinking some root beer while chewing on a piece of wintergreen gum. Really good diet bag in box syrup. Really enjoying it. Tastes like a root beer barrel candy to me. Slightly less creamy tasting than like A&W but sweet and has a good root beer taste. Enjoy it more than a lot of diet root beers I have tried. Will buy again.
