Bon Chef S3003 Manhattan 7 3/4" 18/10 Stainless Steel Extra Heavy Soup / Dessert Spoon - 12/Case

We bought this fork and a few others in the same set to match our new kitchen renovation and we are really impressed with the quality of the whole set. The weight is really nice and feels heavy in the hand. You can tell the quality is really great from the weight of the fork. We were scared that the black plating would come off with heavy use, however, after a month of using these & washing them solely in the dishwasher, they have held up awesomely. We've seen no chips in the black coloring, so it seems like this is made of a black material through and through. They are super nice and we highly recommend them. They are worth the added cost.

They are good weight and comfortable to use. However, the listing states they are dishwasher safe, but after only half a dozen times in the wash, the gold color is wearing off, showing the silver color underneath. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer with no response. If something is listed as dishwasher safe, it should be able to maintain its quality after repeated cycles in the dishwasher for years, especially at this price. The knives in the set have also started to have rust spots. Had I known the gold color would not hold up in the dishwasher, I would have purchased another color. Love the fork. Weight is very goo, feels great in the hand. Well worth the money.

Just like the forks and spoons that Bon Chef make, they are great! I have been very happy from the first day we opened the boxes.
