This Bobrick B-251-4 WingIt grab bar fastener is ideal for attaching handicap grab bars to your restroom walls and keeping them securely in place without backing. Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this WingIt grab bar fastener is durable and sturdy enough to support up to 300 lb. It is designed to be used in 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" or deeper hollow walls with finished wall surfaces up to 1 1/2" thick. To exceed building code criteria, use the WingIt grab bar fastener on multiple layers of drywall, 5/8" drywall, 5/8" or 1/2" drywall with tile and panels, or all masonry type boards.

The WingIt grab bar fastener attaches to your grab bar, inserts into your wall, and adheres to the outside wall with tape. The fastener's wings spring out within the wall, preventing it from falling out and keeping your grab bar securely fastened once it is reattached. One fastener is required for each grab bar flange.
