  • 34% of Americans use third-party platforms to help them choose a restaurant to order delivery or takeout from, a 10% increase from last year.
  • In the US, off-peak ordering hours are an expanding market with late-night orders (between 12 and 5 AM) increasing by 36% and breakfast orders (placed between 5 and 11 AM) increasing by 23%.
  • Friday is the most popular day of the week to order food online, and Saturday is the second most popular day.
  • The most popular food to order online is french fries. The runners-up are burgers, tacos, salad, and pizza.
