I've yet to have any issues with these BiC pens over the years that they have existed. Well, I've had a few explode their ink, but that is more because I radiate heat and shouldn't be carrying them in my pocket, or I forget them in bags or in cars and they experience extreme temperate fluctuations. Can't really fault the pen for any of that, especially value quantity/value priced pens.
the price for the 12 back is really great. the color is nice and they write smooth. the only thing i dont love is the "click" part. its not on the end like a typical pen, theres a button on the side you have to push to retract the tip.. not a huge deal, just not what im used to and like.
