Thanks to the 2-in-1 design, your staff not only has a durable worktop to prep food, but they have convenient access to frozen food items for added efficiency. Made of a heavy-duty stainless steel front, sides, drawers, and door and a corrosion-resistant aluminum interior, this unit is durable for frequent use in your commercial kitchen.

The unit's 2 drawers each accommodate 6" food pans and have telescoping drawer slides for ample support and locking mechanisms to prevent them from accidentally being pulled out from the cabinet. Each drawer fits 6" food pans for efficient use. This freezer also includes a door, with 2 shelves for organization. Both the drawers and door have a snap-in gasket for a proper seal when closed.

This 48" freezer consistently maintains temperatures at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below which can be monitored with a full electronic control. The powerful 1/2 hp compressor circulates eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant, which has an ozone depletion (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3 making it an environmentally responsible choice for your business.

R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

What does the “H” or “HC” mean in the newer Beverage-Air model numbers?

This is a representation that the unit is using a “Hydrocarbon” refrigerant. This would include both R290 and R600a refrigerants. They are being used as an eco-friendly refrigerant by Beverage-Air in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.
