The bottom mounted refrigeration system on this unit makes maintenance simple without needing to use a ladder. It also keeps the refrigeration components out of the heat of hot kitchens since warm air rises, thus not making the system work quite as hard.

Convenient Door Design

This unit features a clear, double-paned glass door that provides great product visibility. The spring loaded hinges ensure that the door closes properly even when you have your hands full. If you are taking several loads to or from this unit, you can also override the self-closing system by opening the door 120 degrees so that it stays open until you manually close it. Plus, the plug-in magnetic door gasket offers a positive seal but is still easy to remove for cleaning.

For superior visibility, bright, LED lighting illuminates the interior so that your staff can easily see and select the ingredients they need.

Casters Included

To help you achieve your safety and sanitation standards, this refrigerator comes with (4) 6" heavy-duty casters, two locking, so the unit may be easily moved for cleaning.

The interior of this unit features 27 cu. ft. of cold storage and has 3 heavy-duty epoxy coated wire shelves for safe, sanitary storage. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that must be field installed. The shelves are also adjustable in 1/2" increments.

In order to last longer, this powerful 1/3 hp refrigeration system has an epoxy coated evaporator that resists corrosion. You can count on food safety with this refrigerator since it holds product at 36-38 degrees Fahrenheit. It utilizes eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. An automatic condensate evaporation system also makes this unit more energy efficient. And because it is designed with a 1-piece grill, it's easy to access the refrigeration system for routine maintenance and repairs.

What does the “H” or “HC” mean in the newer Beverage-Air model numbers?

This is a representation that the unit is using a “Hydrocarbon” refrigerant. This would include both R290 and R600a refrigerants. They are being used as an eco-friendly refrigerant by Beverage-Air in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program. Does Beverage-Air warrant this item for use in a food truck?

This item is covered under Beverage-Air's warranty contingent upon the unit being kept in a controlled climate. This means that the interior of the food truck may not be susceptible to extreme high or low temperatures. If warranty service is required, the truck must be able to sit stationary for 24-48 hours to allow for a technician to service the equipment.

I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?

R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

Can this item fit through a standard height 80" doorway ?
