It replaces an original part.

This rectangular cutting board is made with brown paper-based Richlite resin composite, which makes this cutting board harder and more resistant to knife marks. This means it will take longer to show wear and tear from constant use, and it has better resistance to stains, warping, bending, chipping, and cracking. Mounting holes must be drilled in the field.

This cutting board is the worst one I have ever used. The surface is too hard and food slides off easily. It is not blade-friendly at all. I contacted customer service to request a return, but they declined my request, citing that the product had already been opened and used. Now, I can only throw it in the trash bin.
