Bella Vista #10 Can Pizza Sauce - 6/Case

I've been making my own pizza sauce, but it's a major hassle, and I just can't get it quite right (usually, it leaves the crust soggy). I'd tried other "canned"/bottled sauces from the local supermarket, and found them far too sweet for my taste. One "high end" sauce was far too acid. I'd almost give up finding a sauce with a decent balance of sweet to acid. Stumbled on this one on another site, read the reviews, and it seemed that most folks really liked it. Decided to give it a try, and BOY am I impressed! This is the one for me. Perfect balance of sweetness and acid, with just a slight hint of heat/spiciness. Very good cost/benefit. It is a little bit watery but nothing that really affects your pizza. I have bought a couple times and with this price I will be always ordering here.

This furmano's pizza sauce comes in a #10 which contains enough sauce for atleast 8 pizzas. It is light bodied, and seasoned with the slightest amount of basil.

One can very much taste the sweet tomatoes in the sauce. The flavor profile is more similar towards ketchup than a pizza sauce. It still has a nice texture and can make a good pizza. I add more oregano, salt, pepper, toppings, and cheese to make it my own creation.

Runny with almost no flavor. I added 1/2 Tbs of Italian Seasoning per cup and let it sit over night to blend in the flavor. Was better that way, but requires a night for prep.

I LOVE this sauce! It's tastes great on it's own, even though it's canned it tastes like a fresh, minimal sauce. It tastes great for deep dish or NY style. I bought a few cans of another pizza sauce which I hated because it tasted like tomato paste, I was going to throw it away but instead I mixed it with the Frumanos and the result was amazing! It would be nice if there were cases of slightly smaller cans but it's fine because it freezes very well.

We truly enjoy making our own Pizza. But we have a found a great way to make it so it tastes just like Brick over Pizza from a real Italian Pizzeria! We take a round Pizza stone (purchased from the Web Restaurant store by our neighbor) And place it on our Charcoal grill after the coals have gone white. Make your pizza with homemade or fresh dough from your local store (or order yeast from Web Restaurant store so you have it on hand next time!). We use nothing but Furmano's Pizza sauce.
