Since it uses water to fight fires, this unit is an economical choice that is very easy to clean up after use. Plus, it is listed as a "loaded stream" extinguisher to prevent freezing.
This extinguisher has an operable temperature range of 33 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit to effectively work in a variety of climates, while the discharge range of 30' to 45' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance. It boasts an efficient operating pressure of 100 PSI. This extinguisher's heavy-duty chrome-plated brass valve and stainless steel handle and lever are extremely durable. It also boasts a rugged stainless steel cylinder and base.
For easy use, this unit has a large stainless steel pull ring pin with a retention tether. This is combined with an easy-to-read, 2-piece nameplate for simple operation in the event of an emergency. To easily recharge your extinguisher, it has a simple hex collar tightening ring. It meets DOT requirements if you wish to transport it on a vehicle (bracket sold separately).
