For added safety and convenience, this Haws Axion MSR 8317CTFP cable heated emergency shower with eye / face wash station can perform in extremely cold temperatures. The Axion MSR ABS eye / face wash head features an inverted directional laminar flow and integral 4 GPM flow control that helps to flush contaminants away from the face and eyes. The unit's 10 5/8" ABS plastic showerhead has an integral, self-regulating 20 GPM flow control.

This unit features a thermostatically controlled, heat-traced cable to prevent freezing down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures. It also has a stainless steel pipe frame with galvanized fittings, 3/4" insulation, and a UV-protected ABS plastic jacket. The stainless steel pipe frame is supported by a powder-coated cast iron 9" floor flange.

This unit has a 1 1/4" IPS supply and an automatic thermal actuator bleed valve that opens when the internal water temperature goes below 35 degrees Fahrenheit, preventing freezing. The bleed valve closes when internal temperatures reach 42 degrees Fahrenheit again. It comes with a universal emergency sign for quick identification. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
