I purchased this product expecting reliable performance. I followed all troubleshooting steps and provided documentation, but the resolution offered was only a partial refund. While I appreciate the response, the handling of the issue did not reflect the level of support I expect when a product fails so quickly. I’m sharing my experience so future buyers are aware of the limitations in both product quality and customer service resolution. I would not recommend this scale, if you want a scale to last more than 6 months and quality customer support, please look elsewhere.

On our second scale in 2 years. 1st one the battery went out and Webstuarant replaced the whole scale. That was last March. Now the battery went out again. We use it daily but always have it plugged in. It turns off after few seconds of use so not sure why the battery would go out already.

While this scale appears to weigh food accurately, the PLU management part of the product absolutely sucks. The software that is offered for uploading/downloading PLUs simply does not work. I "successfully" connected my computer to the scale, but when I ran a download, nothing was dumped from the scale to the pc. When I ran an upload, the software WIPED OUT ALL OF MY EXISTING PLUs! Anyone who has used this scale knows how much of a pain in the *** it is to set a PLU. So now instead of being able to nimbly update my PLUs using an excel upload, I'm left with hours of rework due to a crappy product from AvaWeigh. Don't waste your money.

We've bought a couple of these scales for our market. They work great. Never had an issue with them. I have never used the printer with it.

I've purchased three of these within a year or two for different areas of our restaurant. A few things that will keep me from ordering this brand again... The tare function works only intermittently. Often we have to take product off scale, hit zero and then tare to make it work again. One had to be thrown away because it just wouldn't power up. I see other reviews have noted this problem. I recommend choosing another brand if you want one that will last.

I love this scale! It is super easy to use. It is quick. It holds a charge so you can easily move it to different areas. Well made!!

We have owned these scales for about a month. The Battery Seems to be an issue. Either it will not charge or the battery is dead. Seems to work fine as long as you keep them plugged. hope this helps someone Also, The scales will tare even when mixer is running, so that is something that we have not been used to.

This scale is junk! I purchased it because it was a legal for trade scale, which I needed to weigh out product at the local farmers market. I used it the last two markets of the season, and next season, it wouldn't work. I ordered new batteries for it, because that HAD to be the reason it wasn't working. It did not work! But by the time I went through the whole battery process it was after the 6 months they give you on the warranty...So I am out the money I paid for this glorified paperweight, plus I will have to order another, from elsewhere!

Good scale for the price. Can customer service send me (and post) clear instructions for turning off the automatic timer. There is no need for this function when it is plugged in. Thank you.

This is the first scale I purchased for my business, so I'm sure there is a learning curve, and I don't have any other experience to compare it to; that being said, my experience with this scale has been terrible. It is not user friendly; it tares when I don't want it to, and when saving a tare it loses its tare. I have used it now for a few months and it has not gotten any easier. I'm purchasing a different brand. Not recommended.

There are some reviews about how it turns off, that was initially VERY frustrating for us as well. We use the scale to check portions on ice cream cones with a line out the door of a 3 month season. Waiting for the scale to reboot each time was almost a deal breaker. The programming guide is hideous, not well written, confusing, and takes some time to decipher. However. We now have our M1-M5 programed and we have cancelled the auto shut off feature. We turn it on once when we open, then depending on what its used for select the correct M1-M5, and staff can just keep portioning non-stop the scale stays on. I can see where the auto shut off would be great if it was on battery, but plugged in we keep it on all day. I really with is had a custom key pad cover. Something thicker than saranwrap, but sturdy enough to wash up by hand and reuse.

Affordable light weight scale, cheaper than other retailers and legal for tender. It’s perfect and I received free shipping. Can’t beat it that deal.

Invaluable for our coffee business, with configurable presets and cleanable stainless surface. Consistent, accurate readings and probably more features than we'll ever use. Would be helpful to have a more modern interface to program or download via computer, but for a lower priced, well featured scale it's great..

This is an ok scale, but a few things I don't love about it: 1) shuts off really quickly 2) gives error message frequently 3) extremely long and complicated instructions for specific functions 4) power button (red) just kinda cracked after less than a year of using it I mean it gets the job done, just probably wouldn't buy this specific model again.

I am torn in how I feel about this scale, I love it and hate it at times, what's good is that it has a great battery that lasts a long time and charges well with the power adapter, it delivers extremely fast, consistent readings in any unit and does not power off for a very long time. What I don't like- you can't tare it twice, if you need to re-tare it, you must take the weight off, you also cannot change units with weight on the scale and the scale looses its tare in a second or so, so you cannot tare a bowl, lift it off and put it back on with product in it and get a net weight reading, you have to leave the container on there the entire time or the tare will clear and the scale will read zero again. Easy to use, plug and play scale. The legal for trade is a nice feature, I wasn't planning to use it but ended up adding "penny" candy to my store inventory and its nice to be able to use the same scale. Handles multiple batches of breads and dough with no problems

We needed a replacement for our bbq business that would meet the state requirements. I placed this product on the line in one of my restaurants and employees told me how much easier the display was to read than their previous scale. Very happy and exceptional price.

I shopped around for a scale that was legal for trade for nearly a month before we settled on this particular scale. We use it to weight bags of beef jerky by the ounce and its exceptional for that use. our bags range from 3 ounces to a full pound and it hasn't let us down yet. The balance bubble and all four legs help to ensure accurate weights. The NTEP Certificate of Conformance that webstaurant provides is flat out amazing help for proving to those pesky regulatory boards that your scale is up to par. We would buy this one again and not have a worry in the world knowing what we know now

This scale is great if you need a cheap digital scale that's legal for trade. The only common complaint about the scale powering itself down can be fixed by holding the 2 key and the power key for a few seconds. The scale will display "A.off.t" and a number where the price normally shows. Just type in 00 then hit Enter to disable the auto off feature and you're all set.

We needed something inexpensive that would provide accuracy and legal for trade. This scale more than meets the need. My only complaint, it powers down too quickly and must be turned back on within a few seconds when not weighing.

I like that this scale gives the option to weigh in grams, ounces or pounds. It has two drawbacks: it doesn't stay turned on very long before it automatically shuts off to save battery power (compared to my old Tor Rey), and it goes through a long test sequence every time you turn it on, which is annoying if you are helping customers and have to wait for it to be ready to weigh again.

Great construction well built and very very accurate. The removable stainless top makes for easy cleaning. We are mobile so the charge and go feature is a life saver.
