Heavy-duty cleaners may be used for deep cleaning when necessary. However, these products are highly concentrated and may remove the seasoning from the grill’s pre-seasoned cast iron plates. If the seasoning is stripped, the plates must be properly re-seasoned before further use to help prevent sticking, corrosion, and surface deterioration.
