What’s the difference between ice cream and gelato dipping cabinets?
Generally speaking, ice cream dipping cabinets have a lower holding temperature than gelato dipping cabinets. Because of this, it is not suggested that you store gelato in ice cream units. Also, typically gelato dipping cabinets use 5 L pans to hold product, whereas ice cream dipping cabinets are designed to hold 3 gallon tubs.

I really liked this ice cream dipping machine. My only complaint would be the sliding doors seem to be a little cheap. When you lock the sliding doors, It’s not a very secure lock. You can still get into the ice cream by just wiggling the sliding doors around. Other than that, this machine works great!

Great Dipping cabinet. Ice cream does tend to get soft near top and froze hard at bottom but Cabinet runs well and is well made.

This is not a user friendly freezer the way it comes. It's advertised 10" tubs but you have to take the top off to change them. The openings in the top are only 9". So to change any ice cream you have to pull the top, plus the lids will not work now. The storage below is also a joke, To get to the bottom two you have to remove the top the all of the ice cream because they are setting on a lid that has to be removed to get to them. Bad deal all the way around. After staring at it a while I tried the basket that was in my old freezer. It fits perfect but you can only use one basket, to narrow for two. So I threw the tub and floor in the dumpster and using a basket on one side and using the shelf on the other side. Personally I would never buy another one of these. So at first it took me awhile to figure out that the doors came off .... I am going to say like a whole first season to figure it out. I figured it out by accident actually. A duh moment for sure. The doors do come off. This has been a great kitchen freezer for us. I use to store ice cream in it but it is now in my kitchen because we needed a freezer in there and had a very small space.

It seems about right for the price although the caps on the screws that hold the glass together do not really fit properly and they kind of pop off if someone brushes pass them so be aware but it was easy to put together

We have had this ice cream freezer and storage for 5 months. We have just now started to use it in February. I have sold a lot of ice cream in the two weeks I have been using it. Before I started using it I had to put a little silicone around the drain. There was some silicone but it was not all the way around. that was the only problem I ever had with it so far. This is a perfect size for my little shop I am very limited on space..
