This Avantco 178GSKT17556 door gasket replaces the one that came with Avantco GD-ICE-49F and GDC-49F-HC merchandisers. The gasket is a vital part of your unit's door assembly, locking in cold air so the refrigeration system only runs when it needs to. As the gasket ages, it may lose its seal or develop cuts and tears that allow cold air to escape, and over time this may force the refrigeration system to run more frequently to maintain temperatures.
