This was packaged with my immersion blender. The 3 blades when paired with a strong blender provide incredibly strong suction forces that pull the liquids you mix into the protected area where the blades are housed, effectively increasing it's usefulness. In many ways it is as good if not better than a beater attachment due to the way that liquids interact with the blender head. It's controllable enough I can use this in small bowls or very large stock pots. I'm not sure i'd trust this to sit for long periods in really hot liquids due to the non-metal parts in it but otherwise this is a great blending tool. I highly recommend it, it is my go-to tool for puddings/pancakes/potatoes and much more.
