Anchor Hocking 97538 1.5 Qt. Glass Jar with Bamboo Lid - 4/Case

I have several of these jars already and can't say enough good things about them. They are very thick, the seal is bug tight, and they look so neat and tidy on my shelves. A regular bag of flour or sugar fills this size up neatly. AND made in U.S.A. - a winner and well priced, too!

The sugar jar is made of strong glass, so it can be used for a very long time. Suitable not only for sugar, can be used for anything. The price suits.

These are great little storage jars! The lids lock onto the bases well and they're made w/ thick glass. They're of great quality and display beautifully! I use these to store my sola wood flowers in my art studio, as well as for a couple other storage needs. ????

These Anchor Hocking Stackable Glass Jars are a perfect size for 1lb of yeast! The lid seals well enough to preserve food items in a cabinet or fridge. The plastic seal is easily removed for washing.

This is the bigger version of them. Also make for amazing Jars. Good thing about these is that they are stackable. We use these our bar for limes and lemons.

yet ANOTHER great product from Anchor Hocking. They're durable and never have to worry about breaking. These are great for displaying teabags, coffee beans etc (and they look stylish) This is a great item if you plan on changing the color of your kitchen (as opposed to buying colored products) because clear will always match!! They're great. I love them and have them in just about every size.

I love these jars. They are not airtight, so I had to add a wide, firm rubber band to the plastic part in order to seal them, but I love how compact my pantry can be with them.

Good quality jars. They don't break easily and stay sealed.

Anchor Hock glass is fairly thick, but lightweight and feels sturdy. The squared corners makes these jars ideal for lining up in tight spaces. The lids are easy to pull off and push back on, and seal decently tightly. The wide mouths and relatively low height of these jars make it easy to scoop out the contents without difficulty. For US-made glass storage jars, the value is uncontested. However, there is a caveat. The seal rings are made of plastic, and while fairly rigid, I was hoping for silicone. Plastic takes more effort to clean, it absorbs odors, and it stains more readily. In fact, several rings had dark stains on arrival that took some effort to remove, and one was contaminated and had some discolored spots embedded inside it. The seal rings don't seem very durable as I could see some minor fraying around the edges, so I'd expect them to affect the seal's effectiveness over time. I wish the seal ring's material were listed on the item's page for transparency, but considering the excellent value it's a minor complaint.

We love these jars! They are good quality, look great, stack nicely, take up less space in the cupboard than many other jars, the seal works well yet not too difficult to open. Wish I had started with these!

These jars are nice to have to store pantry items because of the seal in the lid. They keep everything air tight and the variety of sizes makes it easy to store different products. I have bread flour stored in this size and it keeps it nice and fresh.
